Whether it’s our tithe (a Biblical term that means 10%) or our offerings (the Biblical description of gifts that are over and above the tithe) of the Old Covenant in the Old Testament, or the even more deeply generous, cheerful giving of the New Covenant that Jesus established in the New Testament, we love to simply respond to Jesus by giving to the work of God’s kingdom. And as a church family we have watched, as God promises in His word, that we cannot out-give God…He takes each of our gifts and turns them into incredible, impactful ministry that transforms our community and our world, forever!

The Bible says, “Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And He will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need, and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NLT
